It is obvious to all of us that it has become increasingly difficult to gather needed food and supplies during this Pandemic. Imagine the struggle for those who now have limited transportation – or reduced income – or additional risk factors associated with the more severe cases of COVID-19 – or a combination of all of these.A group of concerned North West Fort Bend County neighbors, in partnership with Simonton, Valley Lodge, Weston Lakes, Fulshear, and Pecan Hill, is working to identify these folks and to provide some relief. Hopefully, all of these issues will become less burdensome as we move toward a “new normal”. In the meantime, some of our neighbors still need a boost. This is not being set up as a long term solution – it is intended for a one-time distribution with additional collection and distributionpossiblebased on identified issues and needs.
