In the continued pursuit to improve our environment, and become a Tree City USA community. Our Tree Tribute program allows residents to purchase a Tribute Tree, to be planted on private property or approved public property within Weston Lakes, that will be a lasting gift that will grow more beautiful every year. Over 93 new trees have been purchased and planted in our city this year with many more to come.

11/2/18 – Weston Lakes held its first Arbor Day Celebration with KWLB. Mayor Mary Rose Zdunkewicz read the proclamation and Nancy Case officiated. The guest speaker was Monica Singhaina from the National Forest Service. She shared the background of Arbor Day and provided a demonstration on “Tree Thai Chi.” Thank you to our Weston Lakes residents who demonstrated this exercise for your enjoyment. We thank our KWLB volunteers for their dedication and hard work.
