City of Weston Lakes community helped others that are in the hospital: patients, nurses, doctors, staff members, etc. feel better by creating Inspirational Posters!
We have been so touched by all of the Chalk Art and Rainbow photos in the windows and knew that our community could make awesome posters to share with others outside of our community to feel better and lift their spirits!
April 23, 2020 – Inspirational Posters displayed at Memorial Hermann Katy
Twenty-one Inspirational Posters created by our Weston Lakes kids and adults were displayed at the main entrance and employee entrance at Memorial Hermann Katy this morning by Emergency Management while practicing social distancing. See attached photos.
Many of the hospital team came out and were taking photos while we were installing the posters and were very appreciative…including the VP of Operations! She said “This is so incredible! I can’t thank you all enough! Our team is so touched!!!!” Thanks to all of you who helped to create these wonderful posters to share with others outside of our community! Special thanks to Jamie Nevill with the Girl Scouts and all of the Girl Scout moms and scouts that created posters. The big box of Girl Scout cookies was an awesome surprise for the hospital team and was icing on the cake!
